I hate to nit-pick, but you do know that Aragorn and Strider are the same character...right??? I always envisioned Aragorn being played by an older actor (well...older than Keanu Reeves at any rate). Some friends and I were talking about this and we came up with Harrison Ford, Timothy Dalton, and Nicholas Cage as our choices for Aragorn. I'm sure that I'm opening this up for continuous debate, but those were our choices.

Another actor rumored to be interested in playing Gandalf is Christopher Lee. That would be interesting. But I think Sean Connery would do a much better job.
