I'm guessing (and certainly hoping) that that's but a rumour. There is a sequel to Silence of the Lambs coming up, and I cannot imagine anyone else playing Hannibal Lecter. I've seen him in some fairly recent stuff ("The Edge" comes to mind), but I'm not really sure...
