Dagwood misunderstands Mr. Dithers over the phone and mistakenly buys him a horse instead of a house. It's a silly plot, like those of several of the Blondie films, but as usual, they get away with it -- there's lots of fun to be had in watching the characters sort everything out. This is the first entry to star the second of three Cookies, Marjorie Ann Mutchie. It also marked Baby Dumpling's name change to Alexander.
