Mr. Dithers goes away on a business trip, leaving Dagwood in charge. He gets cornered in to hiring a female sergeant, schooled in architecture, but when Dithers returns and objects, Blondie persuades Dagwood to go in to business for himself. Lots of Bumstead laughs.
