A hair better than the previous film Blondie In the Dough, this outing starts with a familiar plot device: it's Blondie and Dagwood's anniversary; she remembers and he doesn't. He inadvertantly gives her a present meant for someone else -- that's the beginning of his troubles. At work, the Radcliffe construction company competes with a new company for a bid on a hospital. William Frawley makes his second of three guest appearances as a loan shark, and Adele Jergens makes her first of two.
