The complex web of mistaken identity might have made this a three star movie, but much of the comic potential is left unutilized. That's not to say there's nothing here to laugh at -- on the contrary. For this series entry, Dagwood mistakenly buys the wrong piece of property for Mr. Radcliffe, and a friend, doing a favor for Dagwood, gets mistaken for him by an important client. Alexander's next-door neighbor Alvin has one of his funnier moments toward the end. This film was the last in the series to be directed by Abby Berlin.
