just to let u know i am in the military and have done two tours in iraq. it is a disgrace upon all the brave men and women who fought and died for this country who did not run, who stood and fought if not for what they believed in, then for the country that they protect. the vietnam war and such things was to protect a opressed people from northern aggressors. the us seen a problem and they acted. those who say they are taking a stand are really using those words such as "beliefs" and "taking stands" to actually try to justify the cowardess they really have. the us has a duty as a more powerful nation to look out for the weak. even though we might not have always done the best job we could have we have done some things, but it takes strong devoted people who stand up when the wolf growls at the door and do what they are required, if they are so scared of dying then they should stop driving cars and flying in airplanes cause those cause a lot of deaths too! the monument for the draft dodgers in canada is a sick sick idol of cowardess, lazyness, and sheer insult to the entire american community and the fact that the canadian gov't allows this to happen should call for boycott.
