Most other forums I've seen are mind-numbingly boring because they're just a random group of people wittering on endlessly about the microscopic details of one particular topic. Even if it's a topic you're personally obsessed with, there are going to be times when you just don't care.
> This one, on the other hand, is a whole group of people who are all completely different with different interests, and most of them actually seem to have a life, which makes a nice change. We're similar enough to share a certain sense of humour and an interest in some of the same things, but people post messages about whatever they feel like.
> Topic-driven message forums just end up repeating themselves ad nauseum, or becoming havens for dribbling fanatics and those unable to cope with reality. I think this forum has a more people-oriented feel to it than most others. It's more like a community or group of friends.

I love this forum. I hate having to go by a certain topic. I use this forum whenever I'm away from my friends at school but have something I want to say to the world. If I want to talk about rain, I can talk about rain. If I want to talk about my bizarre fear of stepping foot inside a circus, I can talk about my bizarre fear of stepping foor inside a circus. If I want to talk about stupid ideas for TV shows I came up with when I was in second grade, I can talk about stupid ideas for TV shows I came up with when I was in second grade. If I want to talk about how evil Sam is, I can get executed.
