Sinbad Comic is currently on hiatus but will eventually return for the fifth and final season.

"Hey, that cartoonist is pretty cute."
"Help, my hand is glued to my forehead!"

How did you know what kind of humor I like? xD

Hey, isn't that guy with the beard and the love and the envy over marriage and the beard in the previous comic, about to take someone for a ride on his camel? Intereeeesting...

"Sure is a fine-looking spankin' machine"

It's always the quiet, veiled ones you gotta watch for....o.o

Ahhhh breaking the fourth wall. FANTASTIC.

I think I would have been more amused by the unglued joke if the Us in this font weren't so annoying. Hopefully soon I'll be able to read a word with a U in it without having to look twice.

Also I would never, never like to see Charlie and his true-love-girl in the same panel. I would get freaked out, just by their facial expressions alone.

Even more than now, I mean.

RT: Oh! No, the colorless, odorless liquid is...water. By charging so much for it, the seller is running a pretty nice little con. Then again, maybe water IS expensive in the desert.

Addendum:
That, and iocaine powder will, in fact, instantly quench your thirst, as well as every other need you might ever possibly have in your life.

The colorless odorless tasteless liquid bit, was what I was referring to. Calling back, of course, to Iocaine powder, which is odorless, tasteless, disolves instantly in water, and is among the more deadly poisons known to man.

The fact that someone was about to shell out 900 shekels for it was, I thought, the joke of it all.

Bedknobs and Broomsticks reference!

Looks like the life of a hay seller is pretty simple.

And I'm not entirely sure this would be my first place to stop and shop. I'm seeing a real lack of used CD sellers.

RT: No intentional "Princess Bride" references this time. Do you mean the "thing" talk?

I knew it was from something I'd heard before!

I like how "yon beauteous maiden" is a 4. ;-)

Great, I heard this entire comic in Angela Lansbury's voice.

The "What am I doing back there?" joke doesn't quite work. I wanted to do a joke about doubles for one of the wide frames, which are actually two movie frames spliced together to form a wider picture than you ever see in the movie. Here, the spliced frames come from tracking shots that follow characters travelling through a crowd. Both frames have the same character in it, so, after splicing, they appear twice.

But this scene has so much motion and blur and foreground movement that it was hard to get two *good* frames of the same character that I could splice together. The fifth panel is the best I could do: if you look closely, you can see how the guy with the camel is also visible through the cart in the foreground (note his waistband).

You can also see this occur in the last wide panel. The kid with his hand on his head is visible to the far left, but he's also visible just behind the woman saying, "Sure is a fine-looking spankin' machine."

When you're setting up shop next to the fire eater, one pile of hay is nearly the best number of piles of hay to have.

I also enjoyed the Princess Bride reference, the Shawshank reference, and, to my shame, it took me three viewings to catch that the "That cartoonist is cute" person was a girl. In the second and third frame, it looks like a guy.

Rifty: it sure is! And now it'll be in my head all evening. Could be much, much worse.

Giggled at the magical thirst-quenching liquid. I wonder where I can get me some of that?

Oh my gosh, you threw out a Bedknobs and Broomsticks reference. You get +10 points of Awesomeness.

(Portabello Road IS from B&B, right? Otherwise I'm going to look like an idiot).
