Sinbad Comic

Join Sinbad and his merry men as they embark on a dubiously-conceived quest to foil a dubiously-conceived but probably evil plot by the evil vizier Jaffar! Sinbad Comic is a screen-cap comic based on the incredible, incomparable, and inexplicable 1989 Lou Ferrigno film, Sinbad of the Seven Seas.

Sinbad Comic is currently on hiatus but will eventually return for the fifth and final season.

I totally read the dwarf dude "saying" "I'm firing my lasers" instead of agent >.<

I LOLed at all three of the last panels - at the "ha ha" part, the "It doesn't say that" part, and at the mere existence of Charlie.

By the way, I like that the "prev" and "next" buttons are so nice and large. Makes it easy to click!

"His thewy sinews were the envy of men, the dreams of women, and the cornerstones of Basra's national defense."

LOL!

10Kan: I kind of like to think it's happening by itself, without the mother's comments at all. The crew's sailing along in peaceful silence, when suddenly the Viking Warrior exclaims, "I hold ze rope vary guud!"

Heh. 10Kan, I wouldn't think too much about it. That kind of character introduction is pretty common. And whether the characters can hear the narrator is probably up to Sam, to be potentially exploited later for maximum comic effect. :)

And Charlie? Simultaneous AAAAAAH/Yay!

Woooo Charlie!!! I did NOT see that coming.

Ticia: RUIN the story?? Do you really think even CHARLIE could be capable of such a herculean feat?

Sorry, Sinbadian feat?

This comic raises the question as to whether what the characters are saying comes from the book itself or the mother's embellishment. Did Poochie really make a comment about his agent, or the bald cook that he had a beard, as if he could hear the epithet the narrator gave him? Are the scenes we're seeing from the daughter's or mother's imagination?

Haha! Charlie is here to ruin the story! He's scary. "Plucky Prince of all that is peculiar" indeed.

(Also, peculiar is one of those words that never looks as if it's spelled correctly.)

I literally thought, "Oh. My."

Also, I thought Mia was the one with cuteness many times her size! She should sue you for personality infringement or something.

Charlie is the son that she always wished she had, instead of this snarky lit-major brat. And hey, with him on board some of the scenes won't drag on nearly as long.

I definitely just burst into loud laughter in the middle of the computer lab when I saw Charlie in the cast of the show. YAY!

I think that I should grow a beard now so that when I go bald (just an eventuality with me), I can start making that assertation to people.

I think I just did a triple-take. There is no possible way I could have expected Charlie of all humanoids. We're all doomed.
