Sinbad Comic

Join Sinbad and his merry men as they embark on a dubiously-conceived quest to foil a dubiously-conceived but probably evil plot by the evil vizier Jaffar! Sinbad Comic is a screen-cap comic based on the incredible, incomparable, and inexplicable 1989 Lou Ferrigno film, Sinbad of the Seven Seas.

Sinbad Comic is currently on hiatus but will eventually return for the fifth and final season.

Kaye: I ran some Sinbad Comic ads on the front page of this site. You can find them by clicking on the "Extras" link in the toolbars at the top of this page.

What front page is Rift talking about? That was one of my favourite Computer Stupidities! Also, loving the comic so far, can't wait for the day it returns... I am a dedicated supporter of terrible movies, books, video games and all manner of catastrophic publications.

I didn't see the rope still moving after he threw it, and literally thought he sat there staring at it for 5 frames....lol

I like the visualness of this comic - the combination of screenshots is pretty.

Is that a reference to Dangeresque 3 I see there?

Indeed. There definitely need to be more songs about the Sinbad movie.

Can I just say that prog psych is pretty awesome, and I can't wait to hear what you come up with.

Wonkadonkathon: Welcome here! I was hoping people like you would find this. You might also want to look at the various reviews for this movie that have been posted to this site over the years. There are a bunch at "It's a Bad Bad Bad Bad Movie": first look at the one on the main http://www.rinkworks.com/badmovie/ page, then search for it on http://www.rinkworks.com/badmovie/search.shtml to find seven or eight more. We also covered it in a segment of a podcast I used to do: http://www.allmovietalk.com/?p=24 will get you to it.

Progressive psychedelic rock is totally not my thing, but I have to say: I can't *wait* to hear what you come up with. Good luck with that project!

Hey guys! I am so glad I found this page! In fact, I can't believe my eyes! Other people think this movie is as hilarious as my friends and I do!?! I am currently in the process of writing/recording a progressive psychedelic rock song for my band, and you guessed it, its about this movie. When its done, I'll post it here.

I just about wet 'em when I saw the picture on the front page of Jaffar saying "Do you know EVIL? I was THERE!"

These are phenomenally awesome. Keep up the good work, Sam! Thanks for the laughs!

This comic doesn't work as well as I was hoping. It's a great moment in the movie, easily missed but hilarious if you catch it. It goes down about like it does in this comic. Cantu gets in position, the viking throws the rope at him, and the rope just drops like a rock, and Cantu has to walk over to pick it up. But it's shot from far enough away that the rope just looks like a vague blur in the individual frames. In the movie, it's much more evident.

By the way, note the title of next Monday's episode. Those that know the movie will recognize it as one of its most unintentionally hilarious passages of dialogue.

You mean like some sort of... "stunt double"? Naw, that stunt was so... *done* by him.

The only thing that could have improved Cantu, The Chinese Soldier of Fortune's disembarkation is if Sam spliced in a scene of Poochie or the Bald Cook exiting the ship with Cantu's singular hairstyle edited onto their heads.

Also, I thought that The Viking Warrior had thrown the rope over the arch in the foreground at first.
