An Odd Question That Popped Into My Head

Why is it loads of people (notably people who post under the name of Philbee, but you see it under lots of other names, such as the same one without the capital letter) have nothing else to post about except to whine about Americans? Even otherwise courteous posts on topics such as ignorance of geography must contain at least an obligatory dig at Americans in parentheses. Once in a while such posts might even be accepted as an unfortunate opinion worthy of consideration except that this is ALL such people ever post about. Why should the rest of the forum care about what one otherwise unknown person's grudge is, especially when most of said forum's participants are targets of said grudge? Why should Americans continually be faced with the temptation to fire back, such as accusing all Brits of having bad teeth due to the fact that their diets consists exclusively of tea and crap? If Brits named Philbee cannot be more tactful and less prejudicial, why should anyone else?
