To answer the first question (about going back to see a theatrical run to see the extras) I would say yes, but only because I have a UGC card that gives me unlimited access to the cinema (for only 10 quid a month). Oh yeah, and only if it was a good movie that I fancied watching a second time in the same week.

If that wasn't the case, however, I'd probably just wait for the super special ultra edition DVD (has anyone else noticed that DVD releases are starting to become "special editions" without a "normal" edition being released? Doesn't the "special edition" moniker imply some sort of choice between the 2-disc extravaganza and some cheaper, streamlined version?).
