They weren't. I got the non-fanboy version at
Sam's for $24.99. I saw the other one with the
extra stuff later and thought it was a bit
over-the-top. At least for me.

This year I'm going to wait until after
Christmas and see if anyone gets The Two
Towers special edition for me before I go out
and buy it myself. Last year my mom bought
me a copy of Fellowship and I had to take it
back, because I'd already bought it and
watched it twice. Mum's the word, though... I
never told her.
