"Let me 'splain.. no, too long. Let me sum up." The reason I just said $70 is because I'm a LotR nut. I have to get the nicest things and keep them nice. I need the collector's edition to just say I have it. So, naturally, I bought the Extended DVD Gift Set. The other seems, to me, to be too little for what you pay for. With the gift set I got a documentary on the area that the Fellowship of the Ring was filmed, the 4 DVD's, the free movie pass, and very detailed and cool-looking bookends. Don't ask for a logical reason why I wanted that stuff because all of it is sitting on one of my stereo speakers in my room and still in the box. Yes, there are cheaper versions of this particular DVD set, but, to tell you the truth, I didn't remember that until Mrs. Grishny said something about it. I'm the same way with Star Wars and Nintendo stuff. Ok... well... maybe I'm just crazy.
