My current home email address is the one I've
had for the longest. We signed up with our
current ISP the month after we were married,
and we've kept the same email address ever
since...about three and a half years now.
Before that, I think my record was nine
months.

The ISP itself has gone through two buyouts
since we signed up, but they never made us
change our email address.

Sad to say, my record is going to pot. Our
current email address has been getting
spammed more and more over the last few
months. I guess I've just been too willing to
provide our address to various on-line
sources that requested it over the years, and
now we're paying for it. I called our ISP
yesterday and asked if we could change our
address.

As it turns out, we are allowed up to three
unique addresses with our account, so
instead of changing our address, we're just
adding a new one and keeping the old one to
use as our "junk" account, since that's what it
has become already. And the new address
will be under the same domain name as our
old one...even though the company has
changed hands and names twice, they're still
maintaining the old domain name so that old
customers like us don't have to go through the
hassle of changing our email address.
