Well, see, the difference is that I don't think I ever get auditory hallucinations. Sometimes I think I hear voices but it turns out just to be the washing machine (it sounds like people murmuring faintly. Bloody spooky washing machine). I've never had sleeplessness-cause hallucinations, auditory or otherwise, that I can remember. And no, I didn't have the washing machine running this time.
