Quite frankly, I don't get why the guy is such a star. He won a bunch of Oscars for "Dances With Wolves" but he's basically done crap since then. And the guy is annoying. Personally, I can't believe he's in ANOTHER baseball movie (especially one that looks as formulaic and contrived as "For Love of the Game"). The only thing I can figure is that his previous baseball flicks have done well, so he figured "Hey, why not?" Then again, he's not to discerninlg when it comes to picking scripts...
