So why should you have anything against them? You sound like you have more against the people who "worship" them rather than the stars themselves. Is it bad to be famous, or just bad to develop an overwhelming ego about it?

It does get excessive. But I don't think there's anything wrong with admiring someone for his artistic talent, either -- there are a number of people in Hollywood, past and present, that I look up to in that way. But it doesn't go beyond that.

Oh, also, I think throngs of teenage girls screaming at Elvis, the Beatles, the New Kids on the Block, whoever, is one of the funniest sights of all time.
