You don't indulge in the titles of "It's a Bad, Bad, Bad, Bad Movie" much.

I love it when people say things like this. On IABBBBM, we get as many submissions for movies like "The Lost World," "The Blair Witch Project," "The Mummy," "Star Wars: The Phantom Menace," and "Mimic" as we do for genuinely bad movies. People seem unable to distinguish between movies that, for whatever bizarre reason, weren't precisely to their taste (like "The Blair Witch Project"), and movies that are genuinely horrible. Or, more commonly, movies that failed to live up to their heightened expectations (like "The Lost World"), and movies that are genuinely horrible. Or, worse, movies they spot some superficial formula in and blame for following it on *purpose* (like "The Mummy" and "Anaconda" and "Mimic"). But can any of these really be considered on the same level as "Plan 9 From Outer Space," "Deathstalker," "Sinbad of the Seven Seas," "Wizards of the Lost Kingdom," "Manos: Hands of Fate," or "Eyes of the Serpent"?

I got on a bit of a tangent there. A dissenting opinion about "Bowfinger":
