Faux Pas, on host 138.89.121.31

I've just realized I haven't seen a one-dollar coin lately. About two years ago, there was a rather large advertising campaign informing the public that there was going to be a new coin in circulation. After the dollar coin was introduced, the only place one could find it was at the local post office vending machines. Instead of dispensing Susan B. Anthony dollar coins in change, the machines now give Sacagawea coins.
Anyway, I haven't seen them recently.
I remember when the $2 bills were issued. There was something about the people who made cash registers didn't like it because they now needed another place to put the new bill, but I was only six. Switch to the coin, you need a place to put the coins. Okay, get rid of the pennies. Nobody uses them. Nobody likes them. There aren't millions in circulation, there's millions sitting in jars or littering the streets. Shift all the coins over a spot. There you go.
Back when I lived in Europe, we went to the PX to buy things. Every price was rounded to the nearest nickel. It's simple. It works. Death to the penny.
Hmm. I seem to have gotten a bit carried away there.
