What kind of bank doesn't have a coin counting/sorting machine? I remember how much fun it was to bring my money bank and see them pour my savings into the machine. A slow-turning wheel picked up the coins, sent them down a rail from which they would mysteriously derail and drop down into the correct tube, increasing the red LED display by 0.10, 0.25, 0.50, 1.00 or 5.00 Norwegian kroner. I always wanted to take a closer look at such machines, but they were always put way behind the counter. And now I don't save money anymore, let alone put coins on a money bank.
> My old slightly-less evil bank went ahead and counted a huge jar full of coins. It's fun to do that on payday Friday during lunch hour. You get to force dozens of people to listen to about ten minutes of incessant PLINK PLANK PLINK TINK PLITANKing sounds as the coins are sorted.
They did that manually??
