It means you're getting a small van!! What consumer wants to go in an buy a small van? I don't want to feel like I'm getting less, I want more for my money naturally! So, instead of calling it a mini-van, why not call it, say, a "mega-car". That way the average buyer can go in saying to him/herself, "Hey, I'm getting more, not less. It's mega, not mini." Perhaps this will initiate a debate on what exactly constitutes a "van", but I still stand by my point! Viva Mega-Car!!

I have a collective name for mini-vans, maxi-vans, SUV's and other oversized polluters. I call them Mega-ego mobiles. I stick to 4 cylinder, 5 speeds that get the job done while polluting less. When they get hybreds and/or electric vehicles that are practical and cost-effective, I'll probably switch. Down here in Dixie, when we get a little skim of snow, the roads are littered with those dangerous, top-heavy, 4-wheel-drive, Mega-ego mobiles flopped over on their side. I don't think there are that many bad drivers. There must be some other reason.
