Julian,
I guess I need to explain. The reason Howard's Toyota (both the car and the truck) don't need chains is that I'm retired and I don't have to go anywhere if I don't want to. I live in a mixed stand hardwood forest and looking out the window is plenty of entertainment when it snows. It doesn't snow much at this latitude anyway.

Please pardon that sudden switch from third person to first person. I'm sure no English teacher worth his salt would do a thing like that.
