Harry Potter, walking down the street...

Having just skimmed over the recent message headers, it appears that no-one has posted about this, so I'll do it first.

I HAVE SEEN THE HARRY POTTER MOVIE.

And it was excellent! I went to a preview with some of my friends yesterday. Although it didn't do full justice to the book (I don't think any film could), most of it was very good. Some bits of dialogue disappeared, and some details in the action, but for the most part it sticks very close to the book. The portrayal of Quidditch was very good, and better than I'd imagined it (now that's saying something). In fact, there was only one thing I wasn't too happy about, and that was in one of the scenes towards the end. When you've seen the film, see if you can guess which bit that is.

Did they change "Philosopher's" to "Sorcerer's" for the US release? How did they get around the fact that there are no legends or stories relating to a "sorcerer's stone" anywhere?
