Yes, it was. That is, it was "Philosopher's" before it got exported to America, where for some reason it was changed, possibly so that the word "Philosopher" wouldn't put kids off. Do they think the US market is so fickle? So simple? It didn't put anyone off over here! Anyway, the main reason I posted was that it looks like, if the film is to make any sense in the US, they're going to have to dub "Sorcerer's" over every occurrence of "Philosopher's", which will probably sound really stupid and reqire much more studio time. Probably his glasses. I saw a photo of the main leads when they weren't in costume, and although Ron and Hermione looked pretty much the same, Harry was completely different. That was quite a make-up job they did.
