Several of my friends have similar flexibility in their schedules, so we've taken as much as a three hour lunch and gone out to a place called GameWorks. It's a huge video game arcade, restaurant, bar, etc...

Kelly hits the nail on the head. Figure out what is important to you and prioritize. Learn how to say no to things (and stay committed when you've said yes). Most of all, make time. Think of all the things that you do that aren't essential. Turn off the TV and read that book. People always complain about not having time to read but many of them find plenty of time to watch TV.

Log off of the internet. Wake up earlier. Don't go straight home after work. Slow down and look around. It is too easy to put blinders on and stick to a routine. So, instead of hoping that time will fall into your lap to do your hobbies, look into the future and tell yourself, "In two hours/tomorrow/Tuesday, I'm going to do X." Then do it.

And if you're going to meet with friends to do something and they flake, do it anyway. Most things don't matter if you are by yourself.
