The exclamation "sweet" is really starting to bug me lately. Not that there's anything inherently wrong with it - it's an interjection, and, as such, it works just fine. I've just heard it entirely too often.

The expression "I'd of" or, more commonly, "I would of" *really* bothers me. The context for that is: "I'd of used proper grammar, except that I'm a doofus."

Then there are just ridiculous pronunciations. "Supposed" pronounced as "spost," "comfortable" pronounced as "comfterble" (which was a reader poll a while back), and "clothes" pronounced as "close" are the ones I can think of specifically.

Oh, one more - improper use of the conditional instead of the preterite. As in, "If she would have given me the fries, everything would be fine." The proper construction is, of course, "If she had given me the fries."
