Apparently Jason wasn't dead enough at the end of Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning, so Tommy, one of the characters in the previous two parts, digs him up to kill him more. Of course lightning strikes, and Jason comes back to life for no good reason, but that's the way things go in dumb, utterly worthless horror series like this one.

Resurrected, Jason again goes tearing around the place killing random failed attempts at interesting characters in implausible ways. Uneven pacing and editing are only the beginning of the explanation of why this movie doesn't work.
