Yes they did. They used bows and arrows, regularly, because they couldn't use guns due to their probation. I don't know that they ever shot them at somebody, but the opening credits even had them blowing up an outhouse using bows and arrows. They'd use 'em to shoot out tires or whatnot.

> Just from what I've seen of the trailer, we have all sorts of digressions from the heart of what the Dukes of Hazzard- a lighthearted rural fantasy that shows that even though the cops may be doing the right thing, the DUke boys really aren't that bad. They're actually quite good guys, who have a thing about making their own alcoholic beverage, and resisting arrest (and really, if Roscoe and Boss Hogg were serious about their jobs, they'd just lie in wait for them at the Duke house, cause they know where it is- through Enis of course.)

Not only that, but usually the cops were not doing the right thing. Most of the time Roscoe was chasing 'em because of some trumped-up charge Boss Hogg made up to frame the Duke boys. They had even abandoned running 'shine since getting paroled.

I agree. There's pretty much no way to really make the show work as a movie, though, so I can't say I'm surprised.
