Ethnic dolls and hate mail

Today I got an e-mail from a "teo c." It is pasted below. The doll he/she/it refers to was one of three I posted the link to in chat just last night to show Leen. My site is, I believe, pretty well buried on the internet, and I have not gotten an e-mail from a stranger about my site in at least a year, so I can only imagine that "teo" was one of the people in the chatroom when I posted that link.
The e-mail:

"I was stunned to see your website on what you called 'Miss Romania'.

"For your general knowledge, which appears to be inexistent, the gypsies are not Romanian and they are not from Romania. It is an ethnicity of south asian origins, and it's got absolutely no connection to the Romanians and it does not represent Romania in any way. There are a lot of minority ethnicities livin in Romania including turks , gypsies, serbians, greeks amongst many others. The Romanians are the majority population and when you speak of Romania the Romanians should be representative not one of its minorities. Your little miss Romania should be a Romanian doll not a gypsy doll. Romanian is one ethnic background and gypsy is another one.

"I suggest you educate yourself some more. Don't stay stupid like that. And I'd also suggest you change the name of your doll to something more appropriate such as 'Miss Roma' or 'Miss Gypsy'.

"I will report this site. I don't think that people surfing the internet, like me, should see [cow manure, termed less politely and misspelled] like this and learn that a gypsy is representative of Romania.

"It's not wise putting up a website and quoting country names or ethnic names if you have no idea what you are talking about."

I responded with my own message correcting his grammar ruthlessly and telling him to get a life, but I am still shocked. I would never have thought that someone (especially from around here) would have the gall to act like that toward me over a doll. Ethnic references strike deep chords, I guess, and I can only imagine what he would have said if he had been Norwegian and seen my "Little Miss Viking." All I know is that I won't be posting links to my dolls for just anyone to see anymore.

La"Feel free to delete, Sam, I don't even really know why I'm posting this here"Zorra
