my big thing - and don't ask me how i started this, but i've been doing it for years - is seeing if license plates are divisible by 3. i've gotten really good at adding numbers fast to see if they are. it's quite sad, really, i even have rules... if there are letters, you can choose to use them or not as you desire. don't ask me, i don't know. i can't stop, either.

speaking of cars, we just got a new (well,m not really, it's old, but it's new for us) Buick electra. it's black and i think it looks like a hearse, so I call it Mourning Becomes Electra.

speaking of cars, i was in an accident a week ago today. nobody was hurt - my brother was just spacey.

speaking of cars, DC is trying to put into place new license restrictions. permit at 16, have to keep it for 6 months. provisional license at 16.5, can drive alone at day, only carry family members in car. full license at 17, but can only have one non-family member in car until 18. AGGGGHHHHH!!!! according to my friend and her dad, who know a lot about dc politics, they won't be able to implememt it until January of 2001, so i'll have my license by then. God bless the grandfather clause.
