AGGGGHHHHH!!!! according to my friend and her dad, who know a lot about dc politics, they won't be able to implememt it until January of 2001, so i'll have my license by then. God bless the grandfather clause. > > > > uni"speaking of cars..."peg > > I know what you mean. Why does it have to be so complicated? I got an unlimited license on the day I turned 16 and never had a problem. I've never gotten a speeding ticket and didn't have my first wreck until I was 24.(If you want to call a $12 dent a wreck.) I've been driving 50 years now and I have to worry about some future rule that says you can't drive after you reach a certain age. If you are 16 or 66, the problems are the same. > Howard
exactly my point. i mean, dc has had i think one or two teenage fatalities in the past many years. i (and my brother) will never ever be spacey (again, in his case) while driving(especially at military and reno). crashing is just too scary.... oh well, as long as they pass it after i turn 16.... i suppose it's worse for me, because all of my friends can drive, no restrictions... i've been waiting long enough to drive, and if i had to wait longer... i suppose my BIG problem with it is that I take a lot of friends to stuff at my youth group, this year my brother drives, but if they do pass the law, next year my parents would have to take us to everything. it annoys me. a lot. arrrg
