Ever notice how the 'smart kid' functions either get the rich ones [people to people, Johns Hopkins, Mary Baldwin college, all the other expensive ones], the annoying ones [use influences such as tears to get in], or the stupid-smart ones [who actually reply to those mass mailings simply because it's the only time they've been invited to something of the sort, wether they're interested, qualified, or not]? Seems like there's a very small percentage of programs that gets a good sampling of 'smart' kids-- rich, not, snobby, not, really exceptional, semi-exceptional....
