Wow! At German camp this last weekend (or was it the weekend before? Its a blurr) I got paired up with a German exchange student. the groups were made up of someone who had had a lot of german, and someone who had had a little. we were probably the most extreme pair. I had had 9 45 min class periods, and he 16 years. it was cool.

I'm hoping someday to be fluent... Hoping. Then again I do have a whole big long list of languages I want to be fluent in (basque, scottish gaelic, hebrew... russian.. it goes on)
