Languages spoken: English, Spanish and a whole lot of totally useless ones. Anglo-Saxon (Old English), Middle English, Old Norse, Latin.

Hair: Dark reddish brown, long.

Eyes: Green.

Hobbies etc: Did karate, fencing and ninjitsu (Togakure ryu)for quite a few years. Not really interested anymore. Sailing my 30' keel yacht. Reading. Various outdoors stuff. Mountain biking, swimming, gym. Sporadic outbursts of fitness fanaticism later followed by descent into utter slobularity.

An interesting thing I do: RNZ Coastguard. Often depressing and/or dangerous, but you get to drive a boat capable of doing a 180 degree turn at 60 knots AND use infra red night search equipment. Coooool. Also, if anyone wants to know what to do if a helicopter crashes into the sea, I can tell you. (drive like hell in the opposite direction, hee hee hee... no not really.)

Musical instruments I play (not necessarily well): Piano, flute, classical guitar, wire strung (medieval) harp, pedal harp, mandolin, bodhran, bagpipes, tin whistle, other instruments to be added as and when I manage to get my hands on them.
