We're on opposite sides of this issue then. I've really enjoyed Crichton's books and he's one of my favorite authors. I've heard all the criticisms of him, and frankly, I don't care. His books are entertaining and I really enjoy reading them. That's all that really matters to me. When I sit down to read, I want a book that tells a good story and is fun to read. That's what I look for in a book/author.
