Finally! It snowed more than 1cm last night! Last time I remember it doing that where I live was about 1989. Of course, "more than 1cm" can mean quite a lot...as it happens, we got 2cm of snow. Still, that had a few very good effects. First is that everything looks very pretty now. Second, however, is the really surprising one. My school, which has never closed in living memory, did so today. Well, my living memory anyway. Oh all right, just since I've been there. But it was still very entertaining to be told, on the bus, that we couldn't get into school and to get picked up by someone completely different. So, I've spent the rest of the day playing lazily on the computer and dozing, not to mention having a walk into the fields to see the combination of flooding and freezing near my house.
