All I want to know is where you're making the connection between John's choice and God's influence.
This isn't the best anaolgy, but I'll still state it: You might know that if someone goes down a certain road, they'll hit a dead end. But you didn't actually make the person go down that road, did you?
I've seen many people say, "Because God KNOWS that this will happen, then He is CAUSING it to happen," and I just don't see the connection.
You're right, though: God knows John will choose B; therefore, John will choose B. But that isn't saying that John chose B in any way because of God's influence, coercing, "divine intervention," brainwashing, or what have you. John *still had that choice* -- all God had was the knowledge.
