There's a real groaner about an Englishman, a Scotsman and an Irishman illustrating what "stingy" really means... I don't think the Dutch are attributed with a monopoly on that "virtue".

Why don't you translate some common-sense, everyday "Flemish proverbs" into English, and we can tinker with the wording until it sounds snappy and memorable? Who knows... Maybe some of them will make their way into the Dictionary of Colloquial English Expressions and we'll know it started right here, on Rinkworks! Hoo!
