I was baptized shortly after my birth, so I remember nothing about it. I'm mildly surprised to be the 7th person replying to this, but the first who was baptized at birth. I am willing to wager significant numbers of jelly beans that it's a Catholic thing.

I never did make Holy Communion (something everyone else I know did about 2nd grade), or Confirmation (8th grade), though. I wasn't brought up in a religious enivronment, and to be honest: I'm still rather uncomfortable around churches and what not. Especially considering the "aura" that a Catholic church carries with it.

That was a major factor in my decision to attend the college I am (Grove City College.) I know it's *primarily* a Protestant school (although I believe, and I'm sure Gahalia can correct me if I'm wrong, that they are *officially* non-denominational), but last time I checked, Protestants still used The Bible. I feel it would be good for me to become more familiar with Christianity in general, to learn more about it, to become comfortable in that sort of environment, before I go...erm...how to put this..."leveling up" in my religion, so to speak. ;-)

And as I read that, I feel I didn't make myself very clear. Feel free to ask for clarifications.

The Other "I think this can help simplify it: I'm incredibly ignorant when it comes to my religion. *I* think that's particularly bad when you're a Catholic. But then, I'm the one sitting here saying I know nothing about this stuff." Matthew
