Waiting for more weight.

At the beginning of this semester I lost a little bit of weight without wanting to. It was only about eight pounds or so, but for someone as thin as I am even that much can make a difference. I'd really like to gain it back, but I don't know how. Eating more isn't going to work since I have a high metabolism, and lifting weights is impractical and seems unlikely to be helpful for the areas where I lost weight. I could do a limited amount of weight lifting and can try to eat certain foods or more in general if it would be helpful in combination with something -- it's just that I don't know what that might be. There might even be something that could help me gain weight that's totally unrelated to those two, but I have no idea what.
Can anyone suggest ways I might gain ten to fifteen pounds? Ideally I would want to gain more but given my genetics I don't think that's likely.
