Looking back on the years that I have been visiting Rinkworks makes me ponder how I have been affected by this site. I definitely have less hair than when I first came here and I'm sure I've gained some weight. I've been unemployed twice. My softball team finished in last place for the first time ever. The Giants still haven't won the World Series. I jammed my thumb really bad and still notice some lingering pain to this day. I've lost sleep and I'll never get that back. I gathered more proof that people are dumb. I tried lobster for the first time. I've laughed my arse off. My typing has gotten faster. I've had some really deep and meaningful conversations. I worry more about friends I rarely, if ever, see. Faraway parts of the world seem much closer and more familiar. I've learned a thing or two about scooters. My thinking has been broadened, my communications skills have been sharpened, and my need to talk about movies and food has been sated. I am more aware that sarcasm doesn't always come across in ASCII. I also have proof that the good, cool people easily compensate for the dumb ones. All because of Rinkworks.
