Well, I was surfing around today, and I got inspired, and came up with an idea that I rather like. :) Would you guys be interested in doing a traveling RinkNotebook type project? I would be willing to organize it, etc.

This is how it would work - it starts off with a notebook or journal small enough to conveniently and cheaply mail. I will write some in it, maybe paste in a postcard or two about my area or maybe some pictures, maybe doodle in it, whatever. Then I send it on to the next Rinky, who does something similar, and sends it on again, and so on. By the time it gets back to me, we have a book stuffed with cool Rinky stuff! (And I'd scan all the pages, of course. Heh. ;))

I think this sounds like a fun idea, but I was wondering what you all might think. How many of you might be willing to participate in something like this? The only thing it would cost you would be the mailing price of the notebook (within the US that's $3, and $4 if you're sending internationally from within the US, don't know about the price in other countries) and the price of whatever postcards or pictures you decide to tape into it. I'll buy the notebook myself. :) And if we could get the notebook to New Hampshire for the RinkUnion, those there could sign it and such. :) You'd also have to be willing to give me your address, and trust that I would only share it with the RinkyDink that is going to send the notebook to you. (Ask Monkeyman if for some reason you need conformation of my trustworthiness in this area.)

It's just an idea, but what do you all think? Anyone interested? I think this could end up being pretty cool. But I want your opinions too, via forum or email. :)
