Ok, I have a question for the voracious
sci-fi/fantasy readers here.

Can anyone give me a good reason (without
spoiling anything) why I should continue
to read (and complete) Piers Anthony's
Xanth series? I'm only on book 4 (Centaur
Aisle), but I'm beginning to grow bored of
all the repetition. If I had a nickel*(egrep "repast|demenses" $Xanth_books | wc -l),
I'd be very rich, indeed.

But seriously, I am beginning to wonder whether
or not I'm wasting my time on a dead-end series?

Any conjecture? (aside from "read the Book-a-Minute entry on Xanth")
