I attended Texas A&M University, a institution of higher learning so revered that when USA Today ranked universities by alcohol consumption per student, they didn't list it. Instead, we were mentioned in a footnote that read "Texas A&M was not included in the above list as they have achieved professional status."

The Dixie Chicken, a bar right by campus, is mentioned in the Guiness Book of World Records for the most amount of beer drunk per square foot.

The town were I currently reside has a street that used to hold a record for the most number of bars on a street. (Van Houten in Clifton, NJ).
