I'm not trying to cheer you up or anything, but it could happen. It *does* happen. But look at the odds. You are far more likely to be struck by lightning, bitten by a poisonous snake, or seriously injured in your own home. The trouble with phobias is that they are stupid and illogical, to use your words, and we still worry about them no matter how unlikely they are. I worry about falling off high places. My logic is that if you are going to have a phobia, it might as well be logical. I avoid high places like the plague, so I guess that reduces the odds. Oops! Now I'm back to stupid and illogical.
