Hi all.

Just a few days ago, I did a OEM nuke; i.e., I formatted the drive and reinstalled Windows.

When Windows was up an running, the first thing I did was configure my network card, so I could use my ADSL modem to connect to the Internet. The second thing I did was install video drivers for my Diamond Viper V770 video card. The third thing I did was reinstall sound drivers for my Soundblaster SBLive! X-Gamer card.

That's when things started to wrong.

I don't know why, but my Internet access will cut out randomly. In the middle of a download, or after I try to access a site. This never happened before. I've reinstalled all the drivers, I think... I'll reinstall DVD-ROM drivers today.

Why I come to you is that I am absolutley stumped about this. I've called my ISP's tech support, and they can't offer any help. Many of you are more computer literate that I, so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

On another note, I remember a post about someone who was getting lock-ups and crashes all the time, and to which reinstalling Windows had no effect. I can offer my opinion: the problem could be from a bad power supply. They can cause lock-ups and crashes.

Sorry for the incontinutity and bad spelling, but I'm at my wit's end.
