so, as most of you know, I returned yesterday from a week-long college trip. Most of you want some sort of description of the trips, so here goes....

Sunday - we (my daddy and i) drove to my grandparents house in Lancaster, PA. we spent the night there, it was a lot of fun getting to see them.

Monday - Swarthmore College, just outside Philadelphia. It was really pretty, but in a rather planned sort of way.... it's a national arboretum, so there was a little sign on every tree saying what kind it was... rather amusing. We met with the woman who's in charge of the InterVarsity (hereafter IV) ministry at Swarthmore (Christian campus ministry) and find out a lot about that.... plus we met the chair of the drama department and had lunch with one of the students in the IV ministry, who also gave me a mini-tour thingy. My basic impressions: a good school, the drama program is good, IV ministry maybe not as strong as I would like. Has the stuff I SHOULD like in a school, but I didn't have any "wow i like it here" reaction, so...

Monday afternoon/evening/night we drove to amherst, Massachusetts.... took us like 7 hours, including dinner. ick.

-okay, after typing all that out for swarthmore, i don't feel like doing it for every other school, so i'll give a brief overveiw of each and you can post questions-

Tuesday - went to amherst. i hated it. that's all i have to say about that.

Wednesday - went to Williams. i LOVED it.... oooh my gosh.... it's beautiful... and it's a great school... and it was awesome.

Thursday - Middlebury. it was okay, not great.

Friday - Dartmouth. i really liked it, currently my second pick.

Saturday - got home.

i know this wasn't a very good description, but it would require a lot of typing to tell everything.... so post any questions, and i will try to answer them all.
