Darius' help does NOT come cheap. 61 gold will not cut it.
Sell Marion EVERYTHING you have the option to. She will buy every item, even if you have to annoy her into doing so.
*looks at your inventory again* But I'm guessing you haven't met the Sage yet, so you can't sell half the stuff you need to. Now that you're armed with that sword, go back to the portal to visit the third world. You'll be able to take out the wraith, and then you'll have to undergo the Most Frustrating Battle Scene Ever, but the guy you meet afterwards will make your life SO much easier...
